This 1971 Jaguar E-type 2+2 coupe is a great original car and perfect for an awesome driver. This E-Type is complete with an automatic transmission, 96,000 ORIGINAL MILES, and four Stromberg carbs feeding the impressive V12. There appears to be no major restoration ever done to this car and all body panels and interior pieces appear to be original. This car was purchased from a local friend who purchased the car from an 85 year old gentleman who purchased the car new in 1971. We just had the original radiator re-cored and an ace Jaguar mechanic go through a tune up on the car. The cars were adjusted but did not need to be rebuilt. He was impressed with the originality of the car and that it had not been cobbled together. There is a full size spare in the trunk along with a jack. The wheels are in very good condition and show no signs of rust or curb rash on them. The tires have decent life on them and are 205/75 R15 radials but do show some minor dry rot to them. There is some minor rot to the floors behind the wheels but none is major. It is there though. This is a great V12 Jaguar that has tons of life left in it. This would make a great driver as is or a perfect restoration piece that you can drive as you restore. The mileage shows 96,099 and is actual and is being sold on a mileage exempt Missouri title.
