MotoeXotica is offering this great little Lotus Elan for not a lot of money! This little hardtop Lotus is a ton of fun to drive with its inline 4 cylinder engine and twin Webber carburetors. The car only weighs around 2000 pounds and really moves with the twin Webber carbs and four speed transmission. This is a real California car still on a California title. The previous women owner has had the car in Penn Valley California since 1989. This wonderful little car will make a great driver with some attention or a great restoration project. The car comes complete with the factory shop manual and some small spare parts. The car appears to have been repainted in the past, but is showing signs of age. There is some cracking and blistering in the paint. The most notable areas are on the front hood and the roof. The front and rear bumpers are both solid with no major cracking or damage. We have had the car running but the starter bendix sounds like it is going bad. Sometimes it takes a few turns of the key to get the car started. The car does run and drive! The starting issue will need some attention though. There are disc brakes in the front and in the rear to stop this little Lotus. The real knock off wheels are in good condition with no major curb rash. They are wrapped with 155/80 R13's that have appear to be newer. The mileage shows 6,965 and we don't believe this is actual.
