Description

MotoeXotica is offering this Rare and unusual 1965 AMC Rambler Marlin that is finished in the original color and has the original interior. The motor was rebuilt in July of 1995 and only about 400 miles have been put on this car in the past two and a half years. The Marlin was developed off of the similarly styled Tarpon Show car which used a 106 inch Rambler American Chassis. Unlike most fastbacks, Marlins provided ample headroom for adults. Unusual two tone and even three tone paint schemes were available. The trunk lid was very narrow, only the center area opened. At $3100, the Marlin was AMC's most expensive car. Sales topped out at 10,327 in 1965. The paint is in very good overall condition with only some minor nicks and dings. Both front and rear bumpers appear original and do show some pitting and scratches. Nothing untypical for a 40 year old car. The steel trim around the car is in good overall condition with only some minor scratches and dings. A wonderfully rare cruiser that you can take the family out in with a smile. Reserve has been fairly set and is read to go to a new home. VIN number is 3101397 and current mileage is 02962. GET OUT AND DRIVE!
