This entire truck has been finished with a heavy duty, Rhino type bed liner texturized material. The previous owner informed us that this paint WILL NOT come off. He said you could beat it with a hammer and nothing will happen to the paint. This would make the PERFECT little work truck. This little four-speed VW starts up every time with no hesitation or smoking and runs great. Clutch is smooth and brakes as it should. The wheels are wrapped with newer radials that are in good condition. I was informed that the motor had been recently rebuilt, but have no receipts. The floor under the bed is very solid and does not show any rust. The only rot is behind the front tires. This is minimal though and with the coating on the body the rust should not be a problem any more. This is a rare model in wonderful condition throughout.
