This Charger was restored in the recent past by a professional shop in Georgetown, Ontario, Canada. This is probably the cleanest 1971 Charger you will ever see and it appears in "like new" condition from stem to stern!!!Finished in the factory color of Bright Red (FE5), the paint is in excellent condition and is complimented with matte black R/T stripes. The car came from the factory equipped with the Shaker Hood (N96) or also known as the "Ramcharger" hood - this particular option was to allow clean air to be drawn directly into the carburetor. The body of the Charger is in incredible condition - it is solid and sound on both the exterior and undercarriage! This is one truly breathtaking example of the craftsmanship put into Mopars back in the day! Inside, the interior is very crisp and clean. Finished in Black & White vinyl (XW), the seats are in excellent condition and show no signs of wear or tear. The black carpet is in excellent shape and compliments the white vinyl interior. The door panels and headliner are also finished in white vinyl and look great with no signs of wear, tear, staining or sagging. The dashboard is original and is black with wood grain inserts and looks great! The dash houses the original gauges and an AM radio. This Charger is equipped with rarely optioned power windows. Under the hood, the engine bay is very highly detailed and presented in factory delivered condition. Between the bay walls sits the monstrous 440 Six Pack engine. This engine is extremely sought after by Mopar enthusiasts and it packs plenty of ponies and go-fast! The engine is capable of making up to 385 horsepower and the rumble of the engine exits through dual exhaust behind the car. Attached to the engine is the 3-speed Torqueflite automatic transmission. This Charger is a factory automatic with the "Super Track Pack" which was mated with the 4:10 Dana rear end, which is VERY rare! The previous owner states that the drivetrain is all original! The Charger is equipped with power steering, power brakes and front wheel disc brakes. The car sits upon a set of 15" polished wheels wrapped in original Goodyear Polyglas GT G60-15 tires. This is a very well documented, handsome 1971 Charger R/T and would make an excellent addition to any muscle car collection or with any muscle car lover in general! The VIN is WS23V1A149366 (which can be seen through the driver's side windshield on the dashboard) and the mileage currently shows 97,592. If you're a big Mopar fan, you will notice that the VIN shows a 'W' code, which may be daunting ... rest easy as Dodge merged the Charger and Coronet lines in 1971 and the Charger used the 'W' prefix from 1971 until 1974.
