Description

If you are looking for a great little old school rat rod, you have found it. This 1932 Ford steel bodied roadster has been with the same owner since 1974 in the state of South Dakota and has TONS of vintage hot rod parts on it. Everything about this '32 screams out old school. The tri power V8 looks as good as it runs and really makes this little car fly down the road. We have been getting several emails about the non originality of this car. Let me just say it is a vintage Hot Rod and not a catalog assembled car. This is what a REAL hot rod looks like! I spoke with the owner of 32 years and he informed me that the frame is a 1949 boxed and channeled frame. The motor is a 1955 265 V8 with a hot rod cam and tri carb manifold. It has a 1961 power glide two speed tranny with a 1964 posi rear end. This is a real hot rod that was put together with love and care. This is an all steel bodied car that looks very straight and solid. The paint on the car is older and is showing its age in a few places. There is some very minor cracking and crazing in the paint, mainly on the rear of the car. There is also some minor cracking around the front cowl. There has been a custom painted Taz on the rear deck lid which looks really cool and keeps with the vintage look. The rear bumper looks good with only some minor pitting and there IS a matching front bumper that is included with purchase of the car. This is an awesome vintage street rod that is a blast to tool around in and would make the perfect old school cruiser for the strip. The VIN number is 9140F and the current mileage shows 8,659 which is believed to be since the completion of the build some time ago. GET OUT AND DRIVE!
