Description

MotoeXotica is offering another great 50s Ford. This 1953 Ford Victoria two door hardtop is a great looking, rarely seen classic that was made during Ford's 50th Anniversary. This car has been with the same owner for the past 18 years in the state of Illinois. This beautiful 1953 Ford hardtop styling was the third year for the true hardtop that was introduced in 1951. It was the design of Gordon Buhrig who was credited with saving the Auburn-Cord-Duesenberg Company years earlier. In 1950 Buhrig went to Ford Motor Company. The convertible styling with sedan comforts was an instant success and these models dominated all styling through the 1950's. The style was so popular that it wasn't radically changed until 1955. The paint on the car is in good overall condition with a good shine but it is showing its age. There is a small bit of bubbling on the lower rockers on both sides of the car as well as some filler showing (see photo). The front and rear bumpers are both in good condition but do show some small dents and scratches. They both have a very good shine and luster. The front grill does show some minor pitting as do the mirrors and trim pieces. This is a great driving 50s classic that is a joy to drive and show. This is truly something that you can be proud of when driving to your local cruises or car shows. The VIN number is b3pv109388 and the current mileage shows 04,269. The car is being sold on a clear Illinois title with the last purchase date of 09/09/88. GET OUT AND DRIVE!
