Description

Motoexotica is offering another fantastic Camaro. This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro has gone through a complete restoration and in 2004 had a 695 horsepower, 540 cubic inch crate motor installed. With almost 700 horsepower, this car is an absolute rocket. The motor has less then 2,000 miles on it since it was put into the car. The paint on the car is in great condition with no rot to be found. There are a few minor bubbles at the bottom of the door as you can see in the photos. These are not major at all and are less then a 1/4" around. All the quarters are solid with no bubbling or rot to be found. Both doors line up nearly perfect and close with little effort. The glass is in good condition with no chips or cracks to any of the windows. The front grill is from a 427SS car and looks great. Both front and rear bumpers have a good shine to them and show only minor pitting and scratching. Inside, the white bucket seats are both in excellent condition in the front and show no major wear. The bench seat in the rear is equally as nice with no splits or tears. The headliner, carpet and dash are all black and in very good condition. The car comes with the center console gauge package as well as the tic toc tach. All gauges seem to be working with no problems as well as the lights, blinkers and horn. There has also been an aftermarket, classic style AM/FM radio installed that works with no problems. The heart of this monster is a Shafiroff crate motor from Ultra Street Performance. With 695 horsepower and 665 lb ft of torque, the car is a blast to drive and is built to be extremely streetable on pump gas. The motor alone in the car costs over $10,000 without the carb and ignition. Feeding the V8 is a 850 CFM Demon carb on top of a Dart intake. With power steering and power brakes the car is a joy to drive. There has been an aftermarket Vintage Air A/C system installed that works with no problems. The transmission is a TH 400 that is fully capable of handling the horsepower that this monster is producing and was made just for this motor. The underside of the car is very solid with no rot to be found. There have been frame connectors installed as well as Caltracs traction bars to help put all this power to the ground. Four wheel disc brakes help stop the car and have no fading to either side under heavy braking. The Weld Racing wheels are wrapped with P295/50 R15 radials in the rear and P205/60 R15 radials in the front. All with good tread life on them and are newer. We are selling this car for a client of ours who wants to move onto the next project. He built this car and had his fun with it and now it's time to move on. The current mileage on the car shows 39,100 and is not believed to be actual. The VIN number is 124378N337893 and the car is being sold on a clean, Missouri title.
