The Chevrolet Vega is a subcompact automobile that was produced by the Chevrolet division of General Motors from 1970 to 1977. Available in two-door hatchback, notchback, wagon, and panel delivery body styles, all models were powered by an inline four-cylinder engine with a lightweight, aluminum alloy cylinder block. This Vega has been carefully built and set up for both competition racing or just for a cruise with your honey. It has been tastefully modified to not only turn heads but to blow past the competition! Finished in Plum Crazy Purple, the paint was recently resprayed and it looks excellent over the straight and solid body from the dry state of Colorado. The purple paint is accented ever so slightly by blue pinstriping just below the windows. The scoop on the hood is accented with silver. The chrome is in good shape, showing only minor imperfections. The windshield is also new. Overall, this Vega looks awesome. Inside, you'll see that the car has been professionally caged for racing. The interior is finished in black vinyl with purple inserts which complements the exterior perfectly. The black carpet and headliner are in excellent shape. The door panels are finished with modest aluminum and look great. The dashboard is in great condition and houses a custom set of illuminated AutoMeter gauges and a removable steering wheel. Aftermarket gauges are currently inoperable. There is an exterior Fuel Pressure and Blower Pressure gauges on the cowl as well as a large tachometer with shift light mounted to the dashboard. The Vega sits upon a 9" Ford rear end with posi-traction, Strange axles, back half chassis with five link suspension and rear coil over shocks.
