Description

The 308 was Ferrari's first two-seat V8 road car. Made available to the public in 1975, it was the long awaited successor to the incomparable Dino 246 GT. The 308 series was a new beginning for the company as the premier builder of exotic sports cars for road use. As such, the 308 was designed to epitomize the sports car in its era. It did so admirably, and remains perhaps the most influential enthusiast car in history. The 308 is the car against which every subsequent sports car has been measured, upon which every Ferrari V8 sports and racing car has been based, and the car that brought Ferrari from the pinnacle of elite car-culture recognition into the minds of the general public. 25 years later, the shape and sound of the 308 is still "Ferrari" in the minds of many people.MotoeXotica is pleased to present yet another breath taking Ferrari 308 GTB. Manufactured in Modena, Italy, the 308 you see here is steel bodied, hardtop. This incredible car is sure to turn heads wherever it may be driven to. As with any exotic beauty, it is sure to be a conversation starter as well!Finished in Rosso Corsa Red, the paint is in good condition with some very minor imperfections and showing some age. The rear bumper is nice and show no major rock chips or dents. The front bumper has some minor damage on the driver's side where the rubber has been repaired. The three piece HRE wheels are in excellent condition and really set off the car. However, we do not have the original wheels or a spare. The wheels are wrapped in newer P235/40ZR18 Pirelli radials in the front and P265/35ZR18 Pirelli radials in the rear, giving the 308 GTB an aggressive stance. All tires have a lot of tread life left. The tan leather interior looks great and shows no major imperfections. The black vinyl dash is solid with no buckling or cracking. The carpet and headliner both look great with no major imperfections. It has an AM/FM/Cassette Player. The 2.9 liter V8 performs and runs great. On the road, the car performs as a Ferrari should... tons of grunt and the unforgettable Italian V8 sound coming from behind the seat. The synchromesh, 5-speed manual transmission shifts fine going through the 5 speed gated shifter in the center console. This Ferrari comes with the original Owner's Warranty, Service Book and original Ferrari binder.
