MotoeXotica is offering a fantastic and rarely seen four door MG. This 1958 MG Magnette is in fantastic condition and drives great. It has benefited from a recent restoration on a very straight and clean body. Overall the paint is in great condition along with the interior. There are hardly any imperfections to the entire car. This was the last year the 4 door model was offered by MG and is powered by the MGA powerplant. The ZA Magnette was introduced in October 1953 being the first MG to use a monocoque body. Powered by the BMC "B" series engine of 1489 c.c. soon to be used in the MGA, it gave way to the ZB in late 1956 which a higher ratio final drive, larger carburetors, and some different chrome trim. The ZB Varitone was offered as a deluxe version of the ZB, featuring a large wrap-round rear window, chrome gutter trim and full set of chrome body side trim, which usually divided the two-color scheme, although a number were produced in single colors.The paint is in outstanding condition showing only some very minor imperfections. The front and rear chrome are both in outstanding condition with no pitting to be found. The chrome trim and headlights are both without any pitting. The lights and fog lights both work with no problems also as well as the horn. This MG has a rare retractable sunroof which is in great condition. The wheel and wheel covers are both in near perfect shape with no curb rash or dings. The chrome wheel covers show no pitting. They are wrapped with 135/70 R15 white wall radials that are newer. The current mileage shows 54,260 and we are not sure if this is actual or not. The VIN number is KAT4325779 and the car is being sold on a mileage exempt title from the state of Missouri.
