The most notable thing that has been done to this Cadillac is that the car was repainted a number of years ago. This rare automobile is one of only 225 of these cars ever made!We purchased this car as well as a similar Black 1941 Series 75 from a local antique collector. It is our understanding that these cars were originally used in funeral processions and as limos for heads of state and dignitaries. This is why all the cars were originally black and explains the very low mileage. We believe this car was originally sold by Fazackerly Cadillac on Buckingham way in San Francisco California. The car still has the original keys with a leather Fazackerly Cadillac key fob. The stock flathead V8 runs fantastic. The car started with ease this morning when it was only 35 degrees outside. With a push of a button the car starts right up with no coughing or hesitation. It runs down the highway at 65 mph just as a Cadillac should. The brakes work fine stopping this 4800 pound hunk of iron and doesn't fade or pull to either side.The trunk includes a full size jack and spare and is solid. This is a very solid original California car, which shows no rust underneath. The Cadillac hubcaps so show some minor pitting and the wide white tires are newer and have good tread life left on them. This Caddy includes the rare fender skirts that show no rust to them, which is RARE! The VIN # is 3380313 and mileage currently shows 71,082 which we believe to be actual but is being sold on a mileage exempt Missouri title.
