Color Matched Wheels Red LeatherInterior 3.4-Litre Engine Fixed Head Coupe Four Speed Manual Transmission Four Wheel Disc Brakes New High Quality 2 stage paint Solid California Car Many considered the XK150 a fast touring car rather than an out-and-out sports car, which is supported by the simple fact that the cars were seldom raced or rallied. Still, the 150 had enough appeal to sell 9,395 examples, of a car that cost close to $5,000 when production ceased in 1961. MotoeXotica is pleased to offer our 1959 Jaguar XK150 Fixed Head Coupe. This Jaguar has the right look, a high quality restoration performedand performance to match. This extremely sound XK150 out of Los Gatos, LA where it had been with the previous owner since 2005 The body on this Jaguar, professionally re-finished in a beautiful Jet Black 2 stage paint finish, is highly detailed to a glass like appearance, andis in wonderful condition. During the restoration all of the windows were removed and all new rubber seals were installed. The chrome bumpers shine with brilliance and are free from any major pitting or discoloration. The factory chrome bodytrim and windshield surrounds look nice and the weather-stripping is clean and new throughout. The factory emblems are present and free from pitting and still have a high shine, as well as the rear emblem which is easy to read and proudly displays the manufacture's racing history. The factory wire wheels, wrapped in fresh Coker Classictires, have been painted to match the exterior, further enhancing the sportiness. The interior is equally as grand. The Red Cannily Leather interior is soft to the touch and compliments the beautiful Wilton Wool carpets, extending from the firewall back to the rear seat. The dash houses a fine looking set of factory gauges, of which are clean and bright, haveclear faces and good glass. The dash itself is also wrapped in the same color as the seats,as well asthe door cards, all of which are nice condition. The factory chrome window cranks, door latches and bezels all free of corrosion and show excellent. The headliner, in its correct material and color, is tight and does not sag, and really ties up the solid well appointed interior. Under the wider bonnet lurksthetwin-cam, 3.4 liter straight-six,whichis as pretty as the car itself. The powerful enginebreathes through dual SU carburetors, andgenerates a respectable amount of power!.Power in transmitted to the rear wheels by a slick shifting 4 speed manual transmission. Interestingly enough, the XK150 benefitted from the addition of four-wheel disc brakes. This was the first time such a feature was ever fitted to a production car at that time. In the case of the fixed head coup, these changes certainly made for a wonderful grand touring car, as they created something that was just as exciting to look at as it was to drive for extended periods of time. Give yourself the Jaguar you have been dreaming of! The VIN is5835623 and the mileage shows 05,439. Be sure to check out the video on MotoeXotica's Youtube channel. What are you waiting for?
