We have just had the transmission completely rebuilt as well as a new master cylinder installed. I would drive this car anywhere! Starts up every time with no issues. We believe the motor is the original straight 8 cylinder. It has plenty of power to get this car around town. The motor is connected to a 2 speed Dynaflow automatic transmission with shifter on the column that shifts smoothly. The transmission has had a recent rebuild. On the road this car drives great. The motor starts up with no hesitation, and purrs like a kitten.
