This truck was purchased new in 1951 at Lewis Ford in Arkansas. It has stayed in the original family since then and only driven 127,000 miles!We purchased this fantastic truck from the son of the gentleman who purchased her brand new. He remembered the day his dad brought it home as they were going to pick up Ma at the train station in the NEW truck! His son had no interest in the truck so he let her go in hopes of finding a loving home. Hopefully that will be you!The body is in very solid overall condition. The paint is not perfect and does have nicks and dings. There are no major scratches or dents but the paint is not perfect. The front and rear bumpers are in good condition with no major damage. They have both been painted black. The wood bed does look older and has been painted black as well. The wood is in great condition and is newer. The underside of this truck is rust free, with the exception of some very minor surface rust, very solid, it has been left in its original state overall with no major restoration ever being done to it. The wheels are painted black with steel hubcap which are wrapped with G78 - 15 tires that have good tread life left on them but do show some minor cracking and dry rot.
