Description

MotoeXotica is offering a 80-year old classic that runs great. This 1923 Dodge 3/4 ton stakebed truck maintained and kept in excellent working order. This unique pickup was restored in 1983 and has been located on the high plains desert of western Colorado since 1923. A local businessman has used the vehicle in advertisement for a nationally franchised business the last ten years. It was a favorite in antique auto shows, parades and as a static display. This Dodge has a 3 point suspension, a 4 cylinder "L" head engine, a vacuum fed fuel system, 4 speed transmission, and a 12 volt system. The wooden bed is in good shape with no visible rotting or decaying of the wood. The body is solid with a few dings and blemishes. The most major visible damage is on the front left fender where there are some scratches from lifting the hood and there is also some paint scraped off of the back of the headlight where the hood came down on it. Overall the body is in good shape. This truck was originally purchased by Mr. John Hahn on October 25th 1927 from Richard Warren Motor Co. when the truck was just 4 years old. It appears from the back of the title that he sold the truck in 1960, some 33 years later.I purchased the truck from a multi car collection out of Alabama, where it was part of a 50-car/truck collection.
