Description

If you are looking for THE best classic Chevy pick up in the country, you have found it. This 1970 Chevy Pro Street Pick Up has gone through a no expenses spared, best of everything restoration. This truck will run high 11 second quarter miles on a 150 shot of nitrous and is capable of high 10's with a different cam and a bigger shot of the juice. This motor is one of the best built motors that we have ever seen and would cost you thousands of dollars to build. This motor alone took almost 2 years to build! There was almost $25,000 invested in this truck on parts alone! That is NOT including labor! The motor in this truck took 2 years to build and cost over $5,000. It was originally made for another pro street truck but the owner decided against it. That is when the previous owner purchased the motor and put it in this truck. This motor is ALL steel and completely balanced. The motor is a 427 with a 454 block. The internals of the motor are as follows:Steel Standard crankshaft, Speed Pro forged 11-1 pistons, Speed Pro chrome molly rings, GM Heavy Duty rods with aftermarket heavy duty rod bolts, #781 110cc cylinder heads which are port matched and pocket ported, 425 horse 219 x 188 stainless steel valves, Crane long slot rockers with grooved balls, Molly retainers with hardened locks, 550 lift, 230 duration PBM Cam, TRW double roller chain, TRW high volume oil pump with steel drive, 7 quart oil pan, Clevite 77 bearing kit and 3/8 push rods. The motor was Borg Warner computer balanced and spun for an automatic transmission and blueprinted similar to a 1969 Big Block Corvette engine. There is a 1 gallon reserve fuel tank under the hood for high octane avgas. There are two switches on the dash. One is for arming the bottle and one is a secondary fuel pump for the avgas. Once the nitrous is triggered by the switch on the gear shifter, the nitrous is sprayed along with the nitrous. This is all computer controlled and if the computer senses anything wrong it will shut the entire system down. The system is jetted right now for a 150 shot of nitrous. There are bigger jets in the glove box that will go up to a 210 shot but the previous owner said that he would not go any bigger unless you get a different cam. The current mileage shows 71,735 and the VIN number is CE140S153061. This remarkable truck is ready for any show or and drag strip. The paint and finish of this truck is stunning to see and is ready to wow any crowd at your local cruise in or show. The truck is being sold on a mileage exempt Missouri title with the previous owner owning the truck since 1997. GET OUT AND DRIVE!
