Description

MotoeXotica is offering another stunning convertible. This 1958 Continental Mark III has just had new brakes and exhaust installed as well as new Coker tires. This is one of only 3,048 Mark III Continental Convertibles produced in 1958 and is in superb condition. This was Lincolns top of the line car in 58 and cost almost $9,000 new. While these cars were not cheap, they sold in modest numbers. Lincoln Continentals were completely redesigned in 58, from the Mark II in 56 and 57. This redesign brought a cheaper price tag, but still not exactly cheap by any means in the late 50s. The Mark III was the largest unibody car ever built and became the longest American production convertible ever built at 229 inches in overall length. The car was also fitted with the largest contemporary American engine at that time. The Huge 430 Cu In V8. The trunk is nicely detailed and has the original hubcaps in the back along with the spare tire. The wire hubcaps look great and have no major imperfections showing. They are wrapped with new Coker tires with less then 500 miles on them. This is a great driving classic that is getting rarer by the day. Just in time for summer, this is your chance to drive around with the top down in style and take home trophies at any local car show. VIN number is H8YG419668 and the current mileage shows 16,752. The car is being sold on a mileage exempt Missouri title. GET OUT AND DRIVE!
