This car was originally owned by the owner of a Jaguar dealership's wife. She owned it for a number of years until she sold it to the second owner who rarely drove the car until he put it in storage for almost 12 years. The current owner purchased the car three years ago and took it directly to a professional shop for restoration. The restoration included stripping the solid body and hardtop down to bare metal and repainting it in the original color of Old English White. There was also a new soft top installed as well as a new, correct Connolly leather interior. The interior was originally red but changed to tan. All seals, gaskets and fluids were replaced during the restoration but the motor was not rebuilt. The A/C was also recharged and does blow cold. In the trunk, you will find the original wire wheel spare as well as the original tools for the car. Trunk is solid under the tire as well as the floors and frame of the car. This is a very solid car that shows no rot. The true wire chrome wheels look fantastic and are wrapped with P215/70 R15 radials that are newer.
