Description

If you are looking for a NEW 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback then you have found it. This is a true 19,244 original mile car that has been meticulously maintained by the same mechanic for the past 10 years. Every service that has been done to this car in the past 10 years has been done at Halliday Ford in Washington Court House Ohio. Only new old stock parts have been put onto this car. It even retains the original style Autolite battery. We have documentation of prior ownership going back to 1965 when the car was purchased new at Don Harvey Motor Company by Jerome Carlson of Slayton Minnesota on 7/21/65. The car was then sold to the Starkite family in the 70's of Hamilton Ohio (we have a copy of the registration in hand). At that time the car only showed only 15,000 miles. In 1979 the car was sold to Dennis Clark of Lafayette Indiana at which time the car only had 15,500 miles on the clock. Mr. Clark sold the car to Joe and Mary Pointer of Crawfordsville Indiana on 9/2/91 at which time the cars mileage was only 15,847. (copy of actual title in hand). The Pointers then sold the car to Mr. Terry Feick of Washington Court, Ohio on 5/31/95 at which time the car had 16,373 miles on the clock. We then purchased the car from Mr Feick. The car is still titled in Mr. Feicks name and is on an Ohio actual mileage title. Further, I have a signed odometer statement from Mr. Feick showing mileage at time of salt at 19,241. A 40 year old milestone that has only been driven an average of 481 miles a year! I personally had a conversation with Mr. Clark was has informed me he has additional documentation on the car which he is sending to me. We will update you with these documents when we have them in hand. The paint on the car is the original color of Silver Blue which is nearly flawless. The car has been resprayed in April of 1981 and looks great. There are no major imperfections to be found anywhere on the car. Both front and rear bumpers appear to be the originals and show no pitting or major scratches. The fit and finish on the car is perfect. No panels appear to have ever been taken off. The doors open and close with no effort and all body seams are perfect. There are two small dents on the front of the roof line where it meets the front windshield. I was told it was done when used in a parade from sitting on it. This is an awesome collectors piece that is sure to do nothing but go up in value. The current mileage shows 19,244 and IS original. The car is being sold on an actual mileage Ohio title showing mileage of 16,373 in May of 1995. VIN number is 5F09C340250. GET OUT AND DRIVE!
