This '35 Coupe Street Rod was a love affair for the previous owner and shows by the details and custom work that went into the car. The car took almost 4 years to build and was just completed in early 2004. The gentleman who we purchased the car from told me that he cared so much for this project that he wouldn't even let anyone into his shop where the car was in fear of messing something up. This particular car has all the original body panels that it originally came with. The story on the car was that it was sitting in a barn in Colorado for more then 20 years. It was then given to the grandson of the man who owned it. This was in 1967. In 1976 The car was then sold to the gentleman who built it. We still have the original 1967 title for this car! The car is now being sold on a Colorado title from 2004 from when the car was completed. The car has never left the state of Colorado. It was said to be originally sold there. The coupe features a brand new 4" drop axle front suspension with a Vega steering box. There rear Posi springs are attached to a Ford 9 inch rear end. Power front disc brakes have been installed in the front and drums are in the rear brakes are drum.This car has been appraised for over $55,000 and has one best of show awards in every show it has entered. It won best of show at the Blue Angels Show in Grand Junction Colorado where there were more then 500 cars.
