The inline six cylinder motor runs fine and has TONS of life left in it! Use it on the farm or just playing around town with. Nobody will pass you up in one, that's for sure!The Champ marked Studebaker's departure from the old C cab style for its light duty line in 1960. This new cab was called the T cab. Borrowing much of it's sheet metal and style from the successful Studebaker Lark, this was a radical change from the C cab truck style which was produced for eleven years prior. In 1961 a wider pickup box style originating from Dodge was available known as the Spaceside.The paint is in good condition overall but does have several imperfections. The paint does have some bubbles and cracks showing but not spots where the body is rotted out. The bed is in good condition with no rot. It does have some scaling in a few places but it has been painted over. The wood bed is older and not perfect but is still solid with no rot to the wood, only some cracking. The front and rear bumpers are both in good condition but do have some dings and dents as you can see in the photos.
