MotoeXotica is offering this fantastic and rare 1960 Studebaker Champ pick up that is ready for hauling anything you want to throw at it or just being a great toy. The inline six cylinder motor runs fine and has TONS of life left in it! Use it on the farm or just playing around town with. Nobody will pass you up in one, that’s for sure! The Champ marked Studebaker’s departure from the old C cab style for its light duty line in 1960. This new cab was called the T cab. Borrowing much of it’s sheet metal and style from the successful Studebaker Lark, this was a radical change from the C cab truck style which was produced for eleven years prior. In 1961 a wider pickup box style originating from Dodge was available known as the Spaceside. The paint is in good condition overall but does have several imperfections. The paint does have some bubbles and cracks showing but not spots where the body is rotted out. The bed is in good condition with no rot. It does have some scaling in a few places but it has been painted over. The wood bed is older and not perfect but is still solid with no rot to the wood, only some cracking. The front and rear bumpers are both in good condition but do have some dings and dents as you can see in the photos.

The interior looks presentable overall but is not perfect. The cloth seat looks good with no major wear to be found. The dash looks good as does the headliner. The steering wheel does show some cracking as you can see in the photos. All the gauges appear to be in good working order as are the lights. The carpet is fading but has no major tears or rips. The door panels do show some warping and fading as well.

The inline six cylinder motor runs very good. The motor is fed by a Carter 1 barrel carburetor. The engine bay in original, driven condition with no detailing ever done to it. The car drives down the road ok with no major problems. The engine bay does show some rot around the front. The frame is solid and we have found no rot on it. There is some scaling showing but no rot. There is some minor rot to the body corners and a small bit to the floors. This is not a power steering or power brake truck. This is a great little run around town truck, but not a concourse show winner.

VIN number is E5128114 and the current mileage shows 41,620 and is not believed to be original. The truck is being sold on a mileage exempt Missouri title. GET OUT AND DRIVE!
