| | Scott,
It's a good thing that I made my first stop an auto parts store. I found out that the alternator wasn't charging and had to replace it in their parking lot. Later I had to tear apart the AC to get the electric radiator cooling fan into a position where it could actually cool the radiator. I lost a lot of time on the first couple of days of the trip trying to iron out some problems with the car, but I had a good time regardless. The "road trip" is just about as American as things get, even one that has its share of troubles (never trust an old car's gas gauge). She (47 Chevy STL to LA!) runs good and drives comfortably now, I even got the power steering working good and without leaks.......- Thanks again, Joe -
| | Hey Scott,
Thank you for your help!!!! The truck (70 Suburban) will probably be here tonight. YEA!! We just told him day before yesterday when we got the title in the mail and gave it to him in an envelope. He kept saying, I can't believe you did this to me and laughing and he said he would get me back. He is truly happy and surprised. (Surprise B-Day present) His mom and gradfather were in town and wanted to see his response/reaction and had fun with the whole thing with us. I can't thank you enough.

| | I read this auction in its entirety after I sent you an e-mail replying to your changing the background. I was very much impressed. Especially the part where you made it very clear that a buyer does not need to take whatever vehicle he buys from you, upon seeing it in person, if they do not like what they see. THAT'S CLASS.
My son has over 1600 transactions on EBAY, with only one negative, and no neutrals. The negative was someone who did not bother to see if he could return the item. Like you, my son would have gladly returned his full purchase price, plus the shipping (small item). He too sells vehicles as well on EBAY.
Keep up the good work - its sellers like you that will keep EBAY on-going. - Good Luck, Larry -

| | Scott,
Haven't taken it on any long trips yet but the short blasts are great. In the shop right now for new tires, brake pads, service and an exhaust system. Didn't care much for the 2 into 1. (96 HD Custom)
