| | Scott,
The trip ( 85 MB 300SD) was uneventful and was home safe and sound in the wee hours
Monday morning. I received the title yesterday. I will certainly post
positive feedback.- Thanks, B - | | | | Christine and Scott,
Everything is O.K. We have both (1918 OVERLAND & 69 PORSCHE 911) cars at home now and we like them. Both of them are running now. We are satisfid
in this bussines. The originals of the Bill of sale were lost, but the electronic style you sent us were very helpful.
Thank you very much and again I am sorry for all troubles I had to you.
When you will have any similar car like Overland is, give me know please.
With best wishes,
- Jiri Vanek and Josef Pátík. CHEZC REPUBLIC - | | | | Got back yestriday. Do believe the car has 31 thousand miles on it. The spark plug wires were dated back in 64. Drop the oil pan, no mental shavings. The cyclers are not scared up. Very clean inside the engine. No gum. The screen is clean and not pluged like engine with a hundred or so thousand miles. Usually, on the older engines, the screens to the oil pump is usually gummed up. This was not. Know you wasn't in there picking at it because the gasket was old.
You made out on a good deal. I am lying and only saying I paid this. The only short fall is my savings account.- Thank you. Bill Parker - | | | | Hi Scott:
I spoke with my friend Jeff, and he says the car (68 CADDY ELDO) is great. So he's made/making arrangements to pick it up on Saturday. I also told him that he could take all the paperwork with him and keep it. So if you would be so kind as to let him take it, that would be great. If there is something that I need to sign, let me know.
Thank you for being so helpful and understanding. I will definitely leave you very positive feedback.- Brian Sitko - | | | | Scott,
A brief note to let you know that I made it home safe last night. The
distance was 877 miles. Oil consumption, 1/3 of a quart. Gas mileage,
roughly 30. Usual cruising speed, 70 mph. No incidents to report,
save noticing that upon replacing the bulb for the right brake light I
introduced a short and drove without brake lights most of the way!
Please give my sincere thanks to Christine for her help and making the
transaction go smoothly. You have a very good administrative assistant
-- give her a raise!
Thanks for the Alfa.- Cheers, --jim - | | | | Dear motoexotica*com,
Hi, Just wanted to say that I am enjoying the car, it's at my local Ford dealership getting the once over this week. They are ordering a new gas tank for it, since the one in it leaks like a sieve when you fill it all the way up! Hard to find that in a car unless you do fill it up, though, so that's not your fault. Other than that, it's quite a nice car. I've left you positive feedback, would appreciate the same.- Damon Smithwick - | | | | Hi Scott,
This is just to let you know that I collected the Cadillac (59 CADDY AMBULANCE!) yesterday
morning, drove it 70 miles home including sitting in a traffic jam for an
hour - the car ran perfectly and looks better than I could ever have
imagined.
For some reason, lots of people looked at us when we were driving home -
can't imagine why!!
I've attached a picture of it sitting outside our house with my everyday car
(a Mini) parked behind it.
Thanks again for a very painless transaction and I look forward to doing
business with you again.
- Darren, England - | | | | Scott, While browsing thru ebay i noticed your auction for the "55" t-bird, these little birds have always been my dream car! i was planning on buying one eventually but in april i was diagnosed with non-hodkins Lymphoma and am currently going thru all the chemotherapy and related stuff, this is not why i e-mailed you though- i just wanted to compliment you on your website! i don,t think i've ever seen a website that was so well layed out! your honesty and integrity are commendable! it isn't often that people are so open and direct with the people that they're trying to sell stuff to! I tend to look at things alot differently now than i did a few months back, it's heartwarming to see that some people still try to play the game fair! goodluck with your auction! it's a beautiful car!- Thanks WILLIAM DEPEEL - | |
