| | Well, you may have lost dollars on the sale of the Blue Caddy Limo, but, you have gained some Karma points. It has already: 1. Been used in two weddings (grattis except for gas) 2. Gone through a couple of drive-in restaraunts with gaping eyes on the other side 3. Been used to transport tired girls softball players home. Future plans include being used by a friend for his wife's birthday. On a technical note, it blew so clean on the emissions test that the testors used two different probes. The A/C compressor needed to be plugged in to work well. (I still think it needs some charging, tho). In short, it is being well used and greatly appreciated by someone who has wanted one since before this car was new. Thanks,- Jeff - | | | | Hi, Scott. The car (86 Jaguar XJS V12 Coupe) arrived Sunday and was everything we expected and more.
Thanks so much for all your honesty and help in making everything go smoothly! I will continue to watch your auctions for MY toy. Until then my friend!- Mike and Daisy - | | | | Hi Scott,
The drive back with the Austin Healey(66 BJ8 Mark III) was long and hot but made it home fine. Car is all I expected. Thanks again.- Harvey - | | | | I got the insurance and I GOT THE CAR!!!! (64 Buick LeSabre Wagon) The young man brought it to me and then drove it to the house. I will just look at this beautiful creation for awhile and then get up nerve to drive it. I just couldn't believe that car when it drove past me, on the carrier. Fantastic. Well worth the money, even if it did not drive at all, but it does move, so well. Two men stopped the transport driver while he unloaded the car--apparently, people tried to buy it all the way here. I'm going outside and look at it some more. A thousand thanks!! - Shirley - | | | | Scott, We made it. The car performed great.(79 Mercede Benz 6.9) This turned out to be a great transaction. Who knows, we may be back!
Thanks,- Dale - | | | | Thanks again for the ease of the sale. So far I love the car. (84 Porsche 928) I had to replace the fuel pump, as it started leaking after I got her home. I've also have had to replace the windshield washer pump and jets. Not unexpected, to have to fix some minor things on an eighteen year old car. I haven't been able to drive her much as I have been away in Europe and the Mid-East. My better half keeps looking at her in the garage and wanting to take her out, but has of yet abstained. (She loves the shark). Anyway, thanks again...- Keith McDonald - | | | | Hello: I'm an editor at Forbes.com [go here to see what we do -- http://www.forbes.com/lifestyle/vehicles/ .... and I'm doing a story on eBay Motors. I'd like to talk to some "real" sellers on the site (not the one-car-and-then-leave the country types) and you seem to be quite prolific. I'm wondering if you could e-mail me your contact info: mfrank@forbes.net. If you don't want your name used that's fine. Or we can use your name not your e-mail. Thing is, you sell a lot of great vintage stuff and that's what the Forbes.com reader would be into but I don't think they know how the whole ebay process works. So it's very interesting as a consumer story, as a business story, and even as fly-on-the-wall markets piece. So if you can, shoot me an e-mail.
Thanks Michael Frank

Forbes.com- Michael Frank - | | | | Scott, everything is fine. The new NJ title is getting mailed to me and I am also waiting for the historic plates. My dad is now saying he is not going to send the car( 71 Karmann Ghia Conv't) up to me. :-) He is washing/waxing it and making up excuses to drive it.
Thanks again for everything. If you ever need a reference, you are more than welcome to use my name and they can contact me.- Rachel K NJ - | |
