Sold Inventory 1920 Ford Model TT MotoeXotica is offering this great running classic Model T. This 1920 Ford Model TT Stake Bed one ton truck is a great driving classic that is ready for your local parade or just to go out and have tons of fun with. The truck starts right up every time and runs out great. We have just recently sanded down all the wood on the truck and put a fresh coat of varnish on it. All the wood looks great and shows no signs of rot anywhere. The cab as well as the bed is all wood. The steel fenders are in very good condition with some dings and scratches but overall they look great. The paint on the truck looks older but is very presentable as is with no rust to be found. The pedals do need some getting used to because if you have never driven one of these cars you will need to go through the “Learning to drive the Model T 101” course. There are three pedals: one for the brakes and two controlling the transmission. The transmission is sort of a semiautomatic that Henry Ford thought would be easier to operate then a manual gearbox for all of those first time drivers. The left most pedal controls the gears. Low is all the way in; neutral is about halfway out and all the way out is high gear. The center pedal engages reverse while the left pedal is in neutral and the right pedal is the brake. The throttle is controlled with a lever behind the steering wheel while your left hand steers. Easy enough?? Class dismissed! The interior looks great with all the wood in great condition. The seats are in very good shape with no rips or tears. There is an amp gauge that works fine inside but the key is currently inoperable. There has been an auxiliary switch installed in place of the key. The light switch is working with no problems as are the headlights and tail light. The oil lamps are both in good condition and both have newer wicks. The motor runs great with motor number 15024050. This is an electric start truck and is on an 8 volt system. This pre war truck runs fantastic and is a ton of fun to drive. The brakes work well and the transmission performs as it should. The wood wheels are in great condition and are wrapped with bias ply tires that are in good overall condition with no dry rot or cracking. Sold For: $7,095 |
