Motoexotica is proud to present this awesome rare 1940 Chevy Special Deluxe 2 door Businessmen’s coupe, that has been completely restored back to perfection. This was a total frame off restoration. There has only been 1640 miles put on this car since restoration! We have all the receipts and documentation from the restoration including pictures of it being built. Everything that has been put into this car is fully documented. There are more receipts then I can imagine Just from adding them up I came up with well over $24,000 spent on this restoration. Plus untold hours of time! This car comes with all the modern options that we have all grown to love so much, such as power steering, power brakes, ice cold A/C and 4 wheel disc brakes. There was no expense spared when this car was built.The motor is the powerful 350 cubic inch V-8 with all the ground pounding power you would ever want in this car. The 350 ci. Motor is connected to a 700R automatic transmission. The car also has a ford 9” rear end. This hot rod is a beautiful show car that begs to be driven. And there is plenty of room in this one to carry home all the trophy’s you will win. This is an all steel car and straight as an arrow. Steel running boards as well.
The exterior is a gorgeous Garnet red color. This is a $9,000 paint job with all the receipts. The paint on this car is in excellent condition with no real blemishes to speak of. The beautiful paint is set off by all of the chrome accents. All the chrome is in great shape as well. The car also has chrome American Racing wheels with big tires, rear 235/70R15 front 195/60R15 that fill up the wheel well to give this wonderful car that real hot rod look. This perfect Hot Rod is equipped with a upgraded Heitz front end with disc brakes.
The exquisite interior on this car just makes you want to jump in. The seats have been redone in a soft plush leatherette material, the seats have been done recently and are in excellent shape. The car has all new VDO gauges all of which work, and a Pioneer CD player. We even have the owners manual for the stereo. The carpets and headliner look almost brand new. This car gives you a nice smooth ride that you can really enjoy. The car has plenty of power when you step on the pedal and an automatic transmission that shifts as smooth as silk. When you really want to hear that motor climb through the RPM’s go ahead because there are 4 Wheel power disc brakes to bring you right back down to earth.
